Notice:

The Competition Commission has appointed an external agency to handle the conference registration and conference ticket payment. Payments made by way of credit cards will be charged by “Ascensus Communications Limited” as “Registration Fee”. The said agency undertakes to the Competition Commission that all personal information it has collected will be used solely for the purposes of handling the conference registration and processing the ticket payment. All such personal information will be destroyed within 5 working days after the conference.

Registration Rules and Regulations: 

  1. Registration is subject to seat availability and is offered on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis.
  2. Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email with links to download the official receipt and the admission ticket.
  3. All registration fees paid are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the Hong Kong Competition Commission (Commission).
  4. Registered participants who are unable to attend the event can nominate a substitute participant (in the same fee category) upon approval from the Commission. If you wish to request a substitution of the participant, please email the Conference Secretariat at cs@compex.hk by 6:00pm on 17 February, 2025 (Hong Kong time).  Any request for a substitution of the participant after the deadline will not be entertained by the Commission.
  5. Registration fees do not include any insurance coverage. For participants travelling from outside of Hong Kong, they are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. The Commission accepts no responsibility for any damage and / or loss.
  6. By registering, you agree and acknowledge that the Commission, along with its partners, subcontractors, or affiliates, plans to take photographs and capture video footage at the event for reproduction in educational, news, or promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or any other media including the event website and the Commission’s website. By participating in the event, you unconditionally grant the right to use your name and image (including those contained in the form of photographs and videos) for such purposes to the Commission and any of its designated subcontractors, partners, or affiliates.
  7. The Commission reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event in light of unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of the event due to unforeseen circumstances, the only and maximum liability of the Commission is to refund the registration fees paid. Participants travelling from outside of Hong Kong are solely responsible for cancelling or rescheduling their own hotel and travel reservations.
  8. If the event is rescheduled, the admission ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date. Registered participants who are unable to attend on the rescheduled date will be able to obtain a refund of the registration fee paid if the refund request is made within 14 days of receiving communication from the Commission regarding the rescheduling. Any requests for a refund received by the Commission after 14 days will not be entertained.
  9. Programme of the event is subject to change without prior notice.
  10. The Commission reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend or alter the registration rules and regulations. In the event of any disputes, the decision of the Commission shall be final and conclusive.
